About the Field
Shalqar Energy LLP was established to organize exploration work at the Shalqar block. Administratively, the Shalqar block is located in the Shalkar district of the Aktobe region.
A subsoil use contract for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons under a complex project at the Shalqar block in the Aktobe region was concluded between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Company QazaqGaz JSC, and the Oil Company KOR JSC.
By Addendum No. 1 (reg. No. 5401-UVS dated December 26, 2024), subsoil use rights under Contract No. 5380 were transferred to Exploration and Production QazaqGaz LLP and Bozoi Operating LLP.

In turn, Bozoi Operating LLP and Exploration and Production QAZAQGAZ LLP are the parent organizations of Shalqar Energy LLP, which is responsible for executing exploration activities at the Shalqar field.
This multi-level structure allows for effective role distribution, risk management, and sustainable development at all levels.
